Welcome to the Aeri Park Institute of Molecular Biology and its Applications home page. APIMBA is a non-profit research institute with four main aims:

1. To serve as a storehouse of knowledge about Molecular Biology.
2. To push the boundaries of the field through original research.
3. To apply current techniques to problems confronting society.
4. To educate the public about the power and benefits of this field.

This website is a work in progress. The main features of this site are an introduction to the field of molecular biology, a short description of the most common techniques, a glossary of terms and a listing of useful links.

The basic structure with limited content will be put up initially. Content will be continuously modified and expanded over time. Eventually we hope to become a one-stop scientific resource for researchers, educators, students and the general public.
